Pasar Jaya: No Dangerous Food Products at Traditional Markets

Perumda Pasar Jaya is committed to provide traditional markets in Jakarta are free from dangerous food products. In the other hand, Jakarta Drug and Food Control Agency (BPOM) starts market verification in Jakarta to ensure no dangerous food products in markets.

Total 69 traditional markets in Jakarta were assessed to be safe from dangerous substance last year

Actually, commitment to make traditional markets free from foods with dangerous substance has been initiated since several years ago. Then in 2018, Perumda Pasar Jaya succeeded to make 69 traditional markets to have predicate safe from dangerous food products.

PAUD Facility will Be Provided in Several Markets in Jakarta

"Total 69 traditional markets in Jakarta were assessed to be safe from dangerous substance last year. Of course it becomes all markets' target," said Anugrah Esa, Perumda Pasar Jaya Business and Development Director, Thrusday (1/24).

All this time, each market heads give training and monitor condition on the field routinely. They are also trained and equipped with tools that help them to check markets at any time.

"We give sanction SP1 and up to SP3 or cancellation of business premises for anyone who violate the regulation," he explained.
